DMH reports positive changes

Nearly one year into its recently-adopted four-year strategic plan, Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is continuing to weather the challenges facing rural hospitals across the country, thanks in part to several new initiatives beginning to bear fruit for both the facility’s financial future as well as the level of care provided to the local community.

That was the message delivered by DMH officials over the course of a more than hour-long presentation to the Taylor County Commission during the board’s meeting on Monday, May 2. Present at the meeting were members of the DMH administration and board of directors, as well as a number of staff members.
