Wentworth named SSAC’s ‘22 ‘Newcomer of the Year’

Perry native and former Taylor County High School (TCHS) golf standout Cole Wentworth was recently named “Newcomer of the Year” by the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).

The SSAC announced the 2022 SSAC men’s golf award winners on April 21, highlighted by Wentworth’s Dalton State (Ga.) teammate Matthew Cleary being named “Player of the Year.”
