Robert Lee “Bobby” Stefanelli Jr., 65, passed away peacefully with family on May 11, 2022, in Perry.
He was born Sept. 11, 1956, in Tallahassee to Robert L. Stefanelli Sr. and Betty June Norman Stefanelli.
Bobby worked with the Taylor County School District, where he shared his kindness, patience and knowledge to help shape the future of many young lives.
He was passionate in his ownership of the Econfina River Resort where he has met many great friends who he considers his extended family.
In his spare time, he enjoyed taking the grandkids on buggy and tractor rides.
Bobby was preceded in death by: his mother, Betty June Norman; maternal grandparents, Russell Norman and Mary Reddish Norman; and aternal grandparents, Henry Stefanelli and Antionette Caruso Stefanelli.
Mr. Stefanelli is survived by: his children, Chase Stefanelli and his wife, Savannah, and Katie Crews and her husband, David; his four grandchildren, Asher Robert and Anna Kay Stefanelli, and Tripp and Grady Lee Crews; his father, Robert L. Stefanelli Sr.; and his siblings, Linda Stefanelli (Bill Juniper), Randy Stefanelli and Mari Ann Perusek (Tim); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14, at 3 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Father Kent Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
