Sean Mathias Finecey

Sean Mathias Finecey was born on June 4, 1971, in Westfield Mass.

In 1985, he moved to Perry, calling it home for the past 37 years.

Sean fought a tough battle with cancer this past year and finally went to rest in heaven on Sunday morning, May 15, 2022, after spending a bittersweet weekend surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Elizabeth Finecey; three children, Sean Paul Finecey, Keysha Sadler (Nathan) and Krysta O’Quinn (Ethan); both of his parents, Frank and Fran Finecey; one sister, Kim Finecey; and a long host of nieces and nephews. He was also expecting his first grandchild, Lainey-Lynn O’Quinn, due this August.

The service to celebrate Sean’s life will be held at St. James Episcopal Church on Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m. with Father Kent Thompson officiating.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Autism Speaks Foundation in Sean’s name.
