Billie Sue Wyman

Billie Sue Wyman, 67, passed away on May 17, 2022, in Perry. She was born Sept. 17, 1954, in Perry to E.W. Whiddon and Faye Hunter Whiddon. Billie Sue loved gardening, raising flowers, cooking, dancing and going to the beach. She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Whiddon. She is survived by: two children, Dana Counce and her husband, Keith, and Eric Stokes and his wife, Ashley; four grandchildren, Khelsie Russell, Kaleb Poppell, Tyler Stokes and Caden Stokes; one greatgrandchild, Layla Poppell; two sisters, Sherill Gill and Julie Gentry; and one brother, Ed Whiddon; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 3 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Dr. Todd Taylor officiating. Interment services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service, from 2-3 p.m.
