Subdivision hearing set June 2

After being rescheduled one month later due to a lack of a quorum, the Taylor County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 2, at 5 p.m. to consider a preliminary subdivision plat for a proposed 45-lot “luxury residential RV resort” near Spring Warrior.

The proposed Lazy Tortoise Subdivision is a planned 45-unit residential development proposed on approximately 245 acres accessed through Strickland’s Landing Drive off Spring Warrior Road adjacent to the Big Bend Wildlife Management Area (WMA).
