A little over five years after celebrating the “re-opening” of Stephens Spring following a major restoration project, Steinhatchee residents are once again organizing to see what can be done to make the once-popular watering hole functional again.
The spring, also known as Eva Spring, is located near the intersection of Third Avenue North and Stephens Street in Steinhatchee and has been in use by the public for nearly a century as a place for family gatherings and swimming.
