8U All-Star softball team competes in first-ever tournament in Jasper

The Taylor County 8U Babe Ruth All-Stars softball team played in their first ever travel tournament this past Thursday and Friday in Jasper, battling hard through some brutally-hot conditions before coming up short in two matchups against Hamilton County and Suwannee County.

Taylor County’s first game was against a very talented Hamilton County squad on Thursday evening, when the local All-Stars were defeated 18-8.
