County rejects bid for Keaton Beach lot

After receiving only one bid that was well below the appraised value, the Taylor County Commission is putting a county-owned lot at Keaton Beach back up for auction.

The property in question is one of two small lots located on Marina Road the commission agreed to sell following a 3-2 vote back in February. The lots adjoin a bridge connecting the main and back Keaton Beach canals on either side of Marina Road.
