Lazy Tortoise Subdivision crawls over initial hurdle

The Taylor County Planning Board voted 3-1 on Thursday, June 2 to approve a preliminary subdivision plat application submitted by the developer behind the proposed Lazy Tortoise Ranch subdivision near Spring Warrior.

The vote – which very nearly failed to pass due to 2-2 tie vote – came one month after being rescheduled due to a lack of a quorum.
