Private school teacher arrested

A local private school teacher was arrested Wednesday and charged with one felony count of “authority figure soliciting to engage in sexual conduct with a student.”

Julie Kinsey Hoover, 38, turned herself in Wednesday afternoon, posted a $15,000 bond Thursday morning and was released from the Taylor County Jail.
