Virgil Eugene Shelton

Virgil Eugene Shelton, 61, died May 2, 2022.

He was born Sept. 10, 1960, in Hartselle, Ala., to Lowell Delaine Shelton and Audrey Louise (Sullivan) Shelton.

He lived in Okeechobee for many years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed shooting, fishing, gardening, loved the outdoors and he loved his family and friends.

He was married to Patricia Sullivon for 26 years.

Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Delain Shelton and Audrey Louise Sullivan.

He is survived by: his companion, Elizabeth Partridge of Okeechobee; daughter, Brandy Sue Shelton of Perry; sister, Cindy Shelton of Trinity, Ala.; lifelong friends, LeeAnita Markham and Bruce and MaryAnne Swinford, all of Okeechobee.
