Third graders make strong reading gains

The Taylor County School District is celebrating strong gains in its third-grade reading scores on the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA).

The district saw an overall increase of six percent over last year’s scores (students scoring at Level 3 or above), led by Steinhatchee School posting an impressive 19% increase.
