Mild COVID comeback

Although COVID-19 cases have been on the rise locally — with the most weekly cases reported since February — reports of new cases across Florida and the United States appear to be leveling out after increasing over the past two months.

According to the latest update from the Florida Department of Health (DOH) – which is now published every other week – there were 43 new cases reported during the seven-day period ending Thursday, June 16.
