Machete used to fend off attacker

A woman involved in an alleged domestic violence attack defended herself with a machete, slicing her attacker’s arm as he attempted to break into her home Friday evening in Steinhatchee.

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) received reports of a physical disturbance involving a hatchet or machete with injuries around 5:50 p.m.
