‘Freedom Week’ sales tax holiday will run until July 7

Florida’s “Freedom Week Sales Tax Holiday” begins today (Friday, July 1) and will run through Thursday, July 7, providing tax relief on purchases of outdoor, boating and fishing supplies, as well as admission to certain events.

During the tax holiday, the price of admission to eligible events that take place between July 1 and Dec. 31, 2022, are exempt from sales tax.
