County asked for school security funds

Local businessman and former Perry Police Department (PPD) Investigator Mike Anderson, who recently asked the Perry City Council to help fund school hardening measures, repeated his request to the Taylor County Commission.

Anderson addressed the commission at its June 22 meeting, asking the board to match the $47,000 the Taylor County School District receives annually from the state for for school safety and security.
