Books close July 25 for Aug. 23 election

Although the 2022 primary election is not until Aug. 23, the deadline for voters to either register to vote or change their party affiliation is less than two weeks away.

According to Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland, the book closing date for the primary election is July 25, which is the final day voters can either register to vote or make any party changes and still be eligible to participate in the primary election.
