Roadside mowing nearly halfway done

The first cycle of mowing along Taylor County’s road right-of-ways this summer is more than halfway complete, as crews continued to move north to south through the county, picking up trash along the way.

In May, the Taylor County Commission voted to continue outsourcing much of its roadside right-of-way mowing after determining doing the work in-house would be more costly.
