At its July meeting, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) approved new management regions and regulation changes for redfish in state waters.
In Taylor County, which will be included in the new Big Ben management region, the bag limit will remain at one fish per angler, but the vessel limit will be reduced from eight fish to two fish. The off-the-water transport limit will also be reduced from six fish to four.
