U.S. 27 bridge will be named in honor of WWII POW

The Florida Legislature has approved naming the Fenholloway River bridge on U.S. 27 East in honor of World War II veteran and prisoner of war (POW) U.S. Army Private Tillman R. Clark.

Last year, the Taylor County Commission unanimously approved a resolution supporting the dedication and sent it to Taylor County’s legislative delegation — Rep. Jason Shoaf and Sen. Loranne Ausley — and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
