The Taylor County Commission, along with the county’s constitutional officers, received a clean audit for the 2020-21 fiscal year, finishing the period with “healthy reserves.”
According to Scott Powell of Powell & Jones CPA, who presented the audit to the commission at its June 6 meeting, the county had a “positive year” for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, 2021.
