    Pauline Rivers Blalock

    Mrs. Pauline Rivers Blalock, 79, of Live Oak transition on July 18, 2022, to join her Heavenly Father.

    She was born Feb. 12, 1943, to the late Milton Rivers and Pearl Washington in Aucilla.

    She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister in-law, neighbor, friend and coworker.

    She was a faithful member of Ebenezer AME Church in Live Oak, and an exemplary teacher at Suwannee County Middle School.

    She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

    Visitation for the public will be held Thursday, July 28, from 5-7 p.m. at Ebenezer AME Church ( 411 Parshley St. SW) in Live Oak.

    A celebration of her life will be held Friday, July 29, at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer AME Church.

    To promote safety for everyone, a face mask is required for the visitation and the funeral.

    Interment will be at Eastside Memorial Cemetery in Live Oak.

    She leaves to cherish her memory: a husband that truly loved his wife, Charles Blalock; two daughters, Traci Blalock Phillips (Keith) and Carla F. Blalock; one son, Charles Blalock III; one brother; Onazina Washington (Carrie); six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister in-law, Flora Woodfaulk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    Trinity Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
