Florida Gov. Rick Scott will attend the 58th annual Florida Forest Festival Saturday, Oct. 26, the first sitting governor to do so since Gov. Lawton Chiles in the 1990s.
The governor will walk in the King Tree Parade, which will begin at 10 a.m. and run along Jefferson Street in downtown Perry. Scott will also attend the festivities at Forest Capital State Park.
