Tuesday afternoon crash

The driver of a 2019 Dodge Ram attempting to make a left turn onto Reddick Drive from Highway 19 apparently failed to see an oncoming vehicle and pulled directly into its path Tuesday, at around 2:38 p.m.

The resulting collision nearly caused the 2012 Hyundai Sonata to hit a nearby power pole. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Both drivers and one passenger were transported by EMS to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield right-of-way.
