    Eutah Knowles King Wood

    Eutah Knowles King Wood, 95, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, in Madison.
    She was born on March 17, 1927, in Taylor County to Elmer and Lilly Mae Knowles.
    She worked at the Metal Production plant for 34 years before she retired, and
    she was an active member of Sirmans Missionary Baptist Church for many years.
    Eutah is survived by: her loving husband of 34 years, Joe Wood; daughters, Patsy (Bo) Weatherly and Barbara Kiser, all of Shady Grove; son, Glen (Lynne) King of Madison; grandchildren, Frankie Cruce, Kirk (Michelle) Cruce, Shawn King, Travis (Jackie) King and Jessica (Charles) Dedge; 13 great grandchildren;
    and four great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by: her former husband, Robert Lee King; son,
    King; parents, Elmer and Lilly Mae Knowles; grandson, Danny Tyson; son-in-law, Lee Kiser; and
    brothers, J.C. Knowles, Eldon Knowles, Hardee Knowles, Mack Knowles and Elsie B. Knowles.
    Funeral services were Thursday, July 28, at 11 a.m. at Beggs Funeral Home in Madison with burial at
    Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m., at
    Beggs Funeral Home.
