County budget includes $1 pay raise

The Taylor County Commission has finished work on its proposed $74 million budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year, culminating with a special meeting held last week during which the board voted to keep its property tax millage rates the same as in the current year.

The commission discussed the budget for around five hours across two workshops held last month.
