Keaton lot back up for bid

Much like the changing of the tide, the county commission has swung back and forth in an ongoing debate over what to do with a pair of small county-owned lots at Keaton Beach.

Commissioners remained sharply divided over what direction to take at a recent July 19 meeting after learning no offers were received in response to an advertisement for sealed bids on the sale of the larger of the two publicly-owned lots.
