    Sandra Kay Ducksworth

    Sandra Kay Ducksworth, 65, passed away on Aug. 7, 2022, in Tallahassee. She was born Jan. 2, 1957, in Perry to Cleveland Sadler and Betty Margaret French. Sandra was a Baptist and she worked with the State of Florida as a corrections officer, retiring after 23 and one-half years. She enjoyed traveling, f ishing, going to the beach and, most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland Sadler and Betty Margaret French, and her brother, Clevland Ross “Rusty” Sadler. She is survived by: her husband of 14 years, Robert Ducksworth; her three daughters, Michelle and her husband, Eddie Crites, Mandy and her husband, Jerry Pullum, and Dylaina Ducksworth; her son, Chandler and his wife, Tanya Tuten; four sisters, Sharon Driggers, Lisa Adams, Kyle Reeves and Sheila Gift; her brother, Ellis Sadler; six grandchildren, Makayla, Colby, Ethan, Miranda, Reese and Hunter; and two great-grandchildren, Gracyn and Nolan. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Chip Scheetz officiating. Interment services will follow in Pineview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
