County commission seeking grant to develop wildlife mitigation plan for Perry-Foley Airport

Taylor County is seeking a $95,000 grant to fund the development of a wildlife hazard management program for Perry-Foley Airport.

“This is for a wildlife mitigation plan to mitigate wildlife that encroaches on the runways,” County Grants Writer Melody Cox told the Taylor County Commission at its June 6 meeting.
