County seeks to honor Deputy Scott Williams

The Taylor County Commission will request the Florida Legislature dedicate a portion of U.S. 19 in Taylor County after the late Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Dep. Scott Williams.

Williams, 46, was killed in the line of duty in an automobile crash on Oct. 31, 2016, just 20 minutes into his shift for the day. The crash occurred on U.S. 19 just north of Keaton Beach Road.
