In response to questions raised by former city manager Bill Brynes at the city council’s most recent meeting, current City Manager Taylor Brown gave an impassioned defense of his decision to allow utility department heads to drive city-owned vehicles to and from home – even if they live in another county.
During the public comment portion at the beginning of city’s July 26 council meeting, Brynes took to the podium to ask council members if they were aware why city-owned work trucks would be in Lafayette or Suwannee counties.
