    Edward Franklin ‘Eddie’ Reynolds

    Edward Franklin “Eddie” Reynolds, 76, passed away on Aug. 14, 2022, in Tallahassee. Eddie was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Chipley to Pat Reynolds and Bessie Smith Reynolds. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the First Assembly of God Church. Eddie worked with the State of Florida and retired as a game warden after more than 30 years of service. He then worked with the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) as a field supervisor for 17 years. He was a member of the Taylor County Horseman’s Association and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and being on the water, but especially he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Eddie was preceded in death by: his parents, Pat Reynolds and Bessie Smith Reynolds; his brother, Beryl Reynolds; and his sister, Betty Pulver. Eddie is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Beth Reynolds; his daughter, Summer and her husband, T.J. Croft; honorary children, Sarah Meacham and husband, Zach Bradshaw, Dristin and his wife, Kayla Belle, Mischelle and husband, Tom Rowe, and Jeffery and wife, Tiffany Clemons; his honorary brothers, Earl and his wife, Laura Belle, and Clinton Freeman; two granddaughters, Kelsea and Cameron Croft; and honorary grandchild, Hollyn Belle; along with a host of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church of Perry with Brother Bill Mecham, Brother David Stephens and Brother John Rodriguez officiating. Interment services will follow in Pisgah Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home.
