Walker returns home for Friends of the Library meeting Aug. 29

The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will host a live, in-person program featuring North Florida newspaper columnist, Christian fiction author and Taylor County native Delores Leggett Walker on Monday, Aug. 29.

Walker, who lives in Mayo, is the author of eight books. Her latest two books are “KerryLynn” and “Zac.” Both books are in the “Destiny Diaries Series” of Christian novels.

Walker has played a major role in the Mayo organization known as “Writers INK,” which has encouraged many beginning authors in North Florida to pursue their writing and publishing dreams.

The program will be held at the library (403 N. Washington Street) from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
