Della Elaine Andeson

Della Elaine Anderson, 70, passed away on Aug. 19, 2022, at her home in Perry surrounded by her children.

She was born June 7, 1952, in Hogansville, Ga., to Jack Woodruff and Margaret Woodruff.

Della was considered a “social butterfly,” she loved her family and has never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking, Lifetime movies, music and teaching her granddaughter how to bake.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wade Neal Anderson; her sister-in-law, Terry Woodruff; and her parents, Jack and Margaret Woodruff.

She is survived by: two sons, Troy Neal Anderson and Eric Wade Anderson; one granddaughter, Kiley Nicole Anderson; three brothers, John Woodruff, Mark Woodruff and his wife, Sue, and Roger Woodruff and his wife, Elizabeth; and four sisters, Jacqueline Woodruff, Shyrl Woodruff, Reba Remone Reba Rantin and her husband, Jody, and Beth Haager and her husband, Daniel; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Della’s life is planned at a later date.
