Cheering Addison under those Friday night lights

Taylor County’s first football game of the season was extra special for shark bite survivor Addison Bethea, shown above surrounded by fans and fellow cheerleaders all sporting “Fight Like Addison” t-shirts. A benefit for the teen will be held this Saturday, Aug. 27, at Forest Capital Park. Events and activities will include a bike run, vendors, concessions and live music all day. Admission is free, and all proceeds will support the high school senior in her continued recovery.
