Cast & Company has announced that auditions for an upcoming dinner theater will be held Monday, Sept. 12, and Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Perry Women’s Club, starting at 6 p.m.
The dinner and play, “Elvis Has Left the Building,” will be held Friday, Nov. 18, and Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Women’s Club.
Characters needed for the play include:
• “The Colonel,” Elvis’ manager (male, age 40s to 60s): A big man with charm and cunning.
• Trudy (female, age 30s to 40s): The Colonel’s capable German secretary.
• Roscoe (male, age 20s to 30s): A nerdish office worker.
• Candy (male, age 30s to 50s): A friend of the Colonel’s.
• Jill Tanner (female, age 20s to 40s): An ace newspaper reporter.
“Nothing is needed for auditions. Scenes will be provided for cold readings,” said Cast & Company Executive Director Tonya Williams Benziger.
