    Deidra Anne ‘Cissy’ Reams

    Deidra Anne “Cissy” Reams, 53, passed away on Aug. 31, 2022, in Tallahassee.

    Cissy was born July 16, 1969, in Perry to William C. Wood Sr. and Charlotte Anne Mullinax Wood.

    She was a Baptist and a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church.

    Cissy was a long-time certified nursing assistant with several local nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. She also helped her daddy, Clinton Wood, with his commercial fishing business. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, being on the boat at the beach and on local rivers, tending to her flowers and plants.

    Cissy loved spending time with her family and many dear friends for any occasion.

    She is predeceased by: her mother, Charlotte Anne Wood; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Cindy Wood; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Susie Mullinax.

    She is survived by: her husband of 26 years Robert “Bobby” Reams; her sons AJ, Eric and Jon Clinton Reams; three grandchildren, Brianna, Konner and Grace Reams; one great-granddaughter, Wren Brock; her father and stepmother, Clinton and “Aunt” Dot Wood; brother, Clint Wood Jr.; and her fur babies, Duchess, Daisy and Willie; as well as a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and lots of cousins.

    A celebration of Cissy’s life will be held on Saturday, Sep. 10, at 4 p.m. at 21 Bird Island Rd. with Brother David McMullen officiating. A reception for the family and friends will begin at 3 p.m.; please bring a covered dish.

    In lieu of flowers, those who wish can make donations to the Taylor County Humane Society.
