School Board budget up $7 million, or 16%

The Taylor County School Board approved an estimated $50 million budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year at a public hearing held last Tuesday, and adopted a millage rate of 5.6860 – a 6.5% decrease from last year’s total property tax rate of 6.08 mills.
