Muriel Elise Bryan

On Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, Muriel Elise Bryan passed away at the age of 94.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bryan Sr., and her daughter, Sandra Bryan Newman.

She is survived by: one son, Charles F. Bryan Jr. of Perry; one daughter, Susan Bryan of Augusta, Ga.; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren (too many to mention).

Everyone loved their “Mema,” and she loved each one dearly.

Muriel was born in Greensboro, Fla., to Gordon Edwards and Barbara Will Edwards.

She loved God and worshipped at Southside Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home with Pastor Gary French officiating. Interment services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home.
