    Posted on September 21, 2022

Beverly Ann Willard was born April 9, 1944 to Robert and Edna LaBar in Franklin, N.J.

The Lord called her home Thursday, Sept. 15, at her home, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Robert; son, Kyle; her husband, Jasper Willard; and her sister, Sharon Harty.

Beverly’s passion was gardening and loving her church family. She was an active member of First United Methodist church, serving in the food pantry outreach and in the partnership with Taylor County Primary School.

Beverly was instrumental in getting the newspaper to recognize veteran’s obituaries with an American flag. She was extremely supportive of our veterans.

    She was loved by all.

She is survived by: her loving sister, Roberta Sanders; daughter, Vivian Ann Butler; stepchildren, Carrie Matthew (Curtis), Derrek (Donna), Kaylie (Ted); grandson, Jeremy; great-granddaughter, Randalyn; nephew, Wayne Sanders; nieces, Teresa Lalone (David John) and Regina Thompson (Randy); nephew, Robert McClung (Angela); and great-nephew, Hardy Guice; as well as best friend Carol Welch and her children, Wendy, Debbie, Greg (Cindy) and Carl.

Thank you to all who helped her through the decision she made to journey with Jesus by her side, especially Jan Lee with Big Bend Hospice, First United Methodist Church, her neighbors. Jeff and Marcialene Price, Donna and Jerry Gorman and so many others.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please help us to celebrate a life full of love.

Any donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice or First United Methodist Church of Perry.
