Taylor County High School (TCHS) is celebrating its annual Homecoming this week in “neon” style, all leading up to a parade Friday afternoon and the big game that night at Dorsett Stadium.
Students are showing their school spirit by taking part in dress-up days planned throughout the week: Monday, PJ/senior citizen day; Tuesday, camo/ university day; Wednesday, super hero/dynamic duo (twin) day; Thursday, theme day/throw back day (1980s); and Friday, school spirit day (orange and blue).
The theme for the homecoming celebration is “Splash of Neon.” Homecoming sponsors are Tracy Barnes and Laurie Wynn.
The 2013-14 Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen will be crowned during the Pep Rally Thursday, starting at 6 p.m. at the high school.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, traveling from the high school to downtown Perry.
Friday night, Oct. 8, pre-game activities will start at 6 p.m. with kick-off at 7:30 p.m.
