Cathy Natleen Sadler

Cathy Natleen Sadler, 69, passed away on Sept. 21, 2022, in Perry.

She was born Oct. 3, 1952, in Ozark, Ala., to George William Tillman and Mildred Elizabeth Parker Tillman.

Cathy was a Baptist and a member of Midway Baptist Church in Perry.

Cathy worked with the Taylor County Public Library as a librarian for more than 20 years.

She loved traveling, fishing and crocheting hats for cancer patients. She was a devout member of the 700 club, but, most of all, she loved her family and her grandchildren.

Cathy was preceded in death by: her parents, George William Tillman and Mildred Elizabeth Parker Tillman and her two brothers, Dickey and Leon Tillman.

She is survived by: her husband of 51 years, Thomas Sadler; three sons, Timothy and his wife, Laura Sadler, Jeffery and his wife, Christina Sadler, Tony and his wife, Rosie Sadler; her brother, Wayne Tillman; her two sisters, Barbara Barnett, and Carol Davis; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Tom Studstill officiating. Interment services will follow in the Tallahassee National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 25, from 6-8 p.m. At Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
