TCSO correctional officer killed in crash

A dedicated correctional officer with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) and young father of two was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon, Sept. 25, near the intersection of Beach Road and Cedar Island Road.

Correctional Officer Luke Weldon, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. He leaves behind a wife and two young children.
