Friends of Library to host fall book sale on Oct. 15

The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will hold its Fall Book Sale on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to noon, at the library.

There will be a large variety of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and more.

Most books and items will be just 25¢ each or five for $1.

All magazines will be 5¢ each or six for a 25¢.

Back issues of “Taylor County Tales” (the Friends of the Library’s Annual Short Story Contest booklets) will be available for half-price ($2.50). Issues of the current booklet will be $5.

“This is our first book sale since 2019. Join us and don’t miss out on the bargains!” organizers said.

The library is located at 403 North Washington Street. Proceeds benefit the library.
