Kids’ Parade rolls downtown Oct. 21

The 2022 Florida Forest Festival Kids’ Parade will be held Friday, Oct. 21, starting at 6:15 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Find Your Roots.”

Children ages 12 and under are invited to participate in the non-motorized parade.

“You can decorate bikes, wagons, baby carriages, etc.,” organizers said.

Trophies will be awarded for “Most in Keeping with Festival Theme,” “Most Original (Creative)” and “Most Humorous.”

The parade will begin on Washington Street (behind the courthouse), circle the downtown square and end at Rosehead Park.

Registration – which is free – will close at 6 p.m.
