Montgomery, Sherrer crowned

A pint-sized performer with dreams of singing “This Girl is on Fire” on stage and a future farmer clad in overalls were crowned Little Queen and Little King of the 67th annual Florida Forest Festival during ceremonies held Saturday, Oct. 8, at Forest Capital Hall.

Iris Layne Sherrer, the daughter of Amy Arnold and Tyler Sherrer, and Larry Montgomery, the son of Ashley Montgomery, took all the excitement in stride when they were crowned as this year’s wee Forest Festival royalty.
