If the guys can have some fun in “The Hangover” and the girls can do the same in “Bridesmaids,” why can’t the AARP membership too?
Look no further, because now we have “Last Vegas,” about four old friends who reunite when one finally decides to get hitched. There’s admittedly not much in the way of originality in the film’s story line or even in its execution, but if you group together four actors who combined have four Academy Award wins and another nine nominations, you can bet the final product will entertain.
“Last Vegas” is one of those movies in which the negatives pretty much outweigh the positives, but it still manages to entertain for two hours, providing laughs, a few heartfelt moments and Morgan Freeman drunk on Red Bull vodkas. And really, isn’t that what Vegas is all about?
The movie is rated PG-13 on appeal for sexual content and language.
