    Lawyer withdraws as Burns’ counsel

    Just two weeks before a trial was set to begin, Third Circuit Judge Greg Parker granted a request from attorney Lucas Taylor to withdraw as defense counsel for accused murderer Brian Burns (above) during a Wednesday hearing. Taylor could not disclose details of what he called an “irreconcilable conflict” that prevented him from continuing to represent Burns, who appeared via Zoom.

    Just two weeks before a jury trial was set to begin on Oct. 24, Circuit Judge Greg Parker granted an 11th hour request to withdraw from the attorney representing accused murderer Kenneth Brian Burns.
