Siegmeister gets 40 months

Disgraced former Third Judicial Circuit state attorney Jeffrey Alan Siegmeister, 54, of Live Oak has been sentenced to just over three years in prison for a bribery and corruption scheme – a far cry from the maximum sentence of 48 years he faced after pleading guilty to multiple federal felonies.
